BAND
REED PLAYERS: Nice, clean mouthpiece, swab, and ALWAYS have at least 3 good, new reeds ready to play:
JH: medium strength (#2-1/2 or #3 at least) / HS: medium to medium-hard (#3 or 3-1/2 at least)
BRASS PLAYERS: Nice, clean horn and mouthpiece, plus valve/slide oil, tuning slide grease, and cleaning brushes.
PERCUSSIONISTS: Nice, smooth-tipped drumsticks (Vic Firth SD1 recommended), mallets, and bag.
Director has only emergency reeds & supplies available at school. You may contact Schmitt Music in Duluth to order supplies with credit card payment over the phone. A Schmitt representative can deliver paid orders to the school every week.|
ALL BAND STUDENTS: Sheet music folder as assigned to protect printed music; we collect the music after every performance.
